So MTV took the logo “music television” out of there name and It had me reminiscing my days of spring/summer break when I lived in my bathing suit and was either swimming in my backyard, longboarding down to the beach, or lounging on my couch with my eyes glued to MTV, channel 44, with a big bowl of honey bunches of oats, watching a crowd of bros and babes party on the beach. I wanted to party with them so bad! Literally you would turn it on and there would be cameras panning over a huuge deck with jacuzzis, pools, bars and a crazy stage set-up with cat walks going thru the audience, with performances from coolio, busta rhymes, Jessica Simpson, eminem. Dr.dre, sum 41, Aaliyah, the all American rejects, no doubt, lit, Missy Elliot, maroon 5, fat Joe, Ashanti (who is a huge influence on me), shaggy, Carmen frickin Electra!, destinys child, god damn it was soo good! No one was ever standing still, just dancing all day. I Always wanted to perform on MTV, bummer.
